I called in from Texas with some questions and advised the guy I didn't want to waste too much time picking his brain. I'm pretty experienced, but this guy was still a well of knowledge and insisted to answer all of my questions with parts references and just stuff that wouldn't make him any money because he understands the value of customer satisfaction. This guy is top notch. I didn't need him to fix my truck to figure out I was dealing with top shelf.

This is the place of you have a diesel car or truck. My son had his crappie cp4 fuel pump replaced n his Silvardo 2500 with a MUCH better cp3 fuel pump. The first pump used was defective, but they stuck with it and figured out the problem. They replaced it with a second cp3, and all is good. Those fuel pump replacements are not easy, but they did a great job. They know their stuff and handle most of the diesel work in the area. Great mechanics!!!!

I was heading north on the 101 in my F350 and blew out the radiator going up Gaviota pass. Called Rich’s and they happen to have my radiator. I babied the truck to their location. I changed out the radiator and was on the road within 2 hours. I’m so glad these guys had the part. They were great to work with. After speaking to Rich and his mechanics I’ve decided this is where I will bring my truck.

I had the good fortune to break down on my way from Encinitas to the Central Coast on a much needed camping trip. I was able to get a site for my trailer at Flying Flags and first thing Monday morning I dropped my truck off at Rick’s. I left relieved after Rick and his Cummins specialist went over possible solutions to getting me back on the road. Truck was ready by the afternoon and I can’t thank them enough. Extremely honest, competent and very fair with billing. It’s also comforting to know that on my travels I have them if truck acts up.
